Several thousand books start with “How to!” Many of these books teach you how to do something that you would have never known how to do if you had not taken the time to read the book. This pamphlet not a book will change your life forever should you choose to read it entirely and follow the instructions.
Through this work, scripture references will provide spiritual insight how to focus and key in on the true essence of the direct intent and purpose. The result that will come from this work will be amazing for those who genuinely believe the scripture that says: John 7:38 (AMP) 38 He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, from his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.
Water flows freely when there is no contamination or blockage. The same is true when there is no contamination or blockage in your body, soul, and spirit. When there is contamination or blockage in your body, soul, or spirit you have the choice to allow it to remain or remove it.
One key point to make early on in this pamphlet is the doctrine of choice that God gave to the children of Israel and applies to us today: Deuteronomy 30:19 (NLT) 19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!
This principal from the Lord encourages the individuals to make the positive choice of life rather than a life of curses. God from the beginning created man as a free will being capable of making choices and not being an automaton. We are not robots. Humankind can think and act.
Your ability to make a choice clearly sets you apart from the animal kingdom and other beings on the earth. Many humans attempt to say that they cannot help themselves. They make claims like “The devil made me do it!” and “I can’t help myself!” I believe with the use of the gift called will power that we can do anything but fail if we trust in the Lord.
Please understand that the principals and concepts expressed in this article are based on the hope that readers believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and His power to heal and set free. Having explicit trust and confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ to heal and set you free. Jesus made it clear in this scripture that his mission: Luke 4:18 (AMP) 18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],
Regardless whether your illness is mental, physical, or spiritual the above scripture applies. If you believe your healing and deliverance, it is yours according to the will of God!
So far, you have read promises and you are probably wandering where the proof is. The proof comes soon, but you must understand that something this simple need a strong foundation to be. The foundation is the Word of God. The scripture says it this way: Psalm 107:20 (KJV) 20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
The principal of this process comes from the time God spoke things into existence and the first instance of this: Genesis 1:3 (KJV) 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. He simply spoke and it was. This concept is better known as the God kind of faith: Mark 11:22 (KJV) 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
God obviously had faith in himself as God in the first chapter of Genesis and throughout the whole Bible and we must have faith in him to ensure what we say will be. Simply put –what we declare and decree in God’s son name – Jesus will be. We are instructed in the word: Colossians 3:17 (KJV) 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Once you learn the power of the tongue, your whole life changes and you discover the ability to take control of yourself. The mystery tongue is erased in your mind when you realize and recognize that thought starts in the heart and direction for thought is implemented in the brain when it sends the signal to the tongue to act/speak. I believe this is one of the secrets of the universe that the tongue can be controlled, but it takes the most deliberate thought you can imagine.
The bible says it this way about the tongue: James 3:6-8 (KJV) 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
I believe the Apostle James was speaking concerning the tongue of an unregenerate person. However, his Brother Jesus said that he would send the comforter which when received would provide power to be a witness and to live a life of correct choices. One of those choices is to be able to control one’s thoughts and actions. The tongue of a believer in Christ Jesus when that person is sold out to Jesus will not be used to satisfy the lower elements of the flesh – lie, cheat, steal, kill or practice any kind of sin.
The key differentiation in this pamphlet is that as a believer, you can literally do all things through Christ who gives you strength and courage to do what is right despite the obstacles doing their best to have you do wrong. You can do what is right when you set your mind to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. King Solomon said it this way: Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
I am not teaching mind over matter or any other mind manipulations that are taught by other teachers. I am explicitly saying and know because I am a product of it that you can stop doing any addictive or compulsive behavior in one day if you choose to listen to the voice of the Lord directly or through His servant.
You may have heard the phrase one word from the Lord, and everything will be all right. It may be one word or phrase that brings deliverance. One word is all you need! Whatever the Holy Spirit speaks to your spirit that causes you to know it is time to stop that is the key. Stop! Cease! Quit! The moment you hear the command in your spirit is the moment that you are delivered. God made you and God can bless you to cease from the addictive or compulsive behavior immediately. You must believe and receive from the Lord the power to control your body, your tongue and all your flesh.
I must repeat myself and emphasize, “One word from the Lord or his servant is all you need!” When you begin to believe the Lord and His power and then act on it you win – stop whatever you are doing that is not right. You can control your spirit by the help of the Holy Spirit. The ingredients that you need in your life to successfully overcome any addictive or compulsive behavior a daily dose of the word of God (Bible), prayer and continual confession of the Word.
Here are the steps to freedom from your addiction or compulsion:
Have a challenge or problem
Acknowledge the challenge or problem has you
Hear the Word of the Lord – Luke 4:18 and 19
Believe the Word and place it in your heart (One day)
Receive the Word – Psalm 108:20
Act on the Word from the Lord or the minister who tells you
Speak to your spirit “It’s over!”
Start living life without your addiction or compulsion
If directed by God help someone else to release the spirit of addiction and compulsion
Know that addictive behavior are things you add to your life such as, drugs, coffee, alcohol, clothes, cigarettes, cigars, chocolate, fetishes, and so forth and compulsive behavior are the things you do with your body that you were born with, such as your sexual organs, your tongue, your nose, your nipples and so forth!
